I'm unable to download SAS University Edition. Every time I try, the download gets to 1.7 GB or 1.8 GB and then stops. Now I'm totally unable to have access to the download due to repeated trials.

Please help me out

Email support@sas.com they can help you sort you out. 

You can also use SAS OnDemand for Academics, which is hosted in the cloud, pretty much the same and free as well.
