Hi all,

I submitted the below code:

data QTR1_REVENUE ;
input destination $ revenue;
cards;
FRA 62129
FRA 75962
;
run;

proc sort data = qtr1_revenue;
by destination descending revenue;
run;

In outuput data set I was expecting to see the following:
FRA 62129
FRA 75962

but to my surprise,the output is :
FRA 75962
FRA 62129

Just wondering why this happened.Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance

Remove the "descending" in the by statement.
