Hello everyone,

I'm from Mainframe performance team and I need a basic syntax/template on how to read contents from a SAS dataset (PDB) including all fields and rows maybe for first 10 rows. For example:

Columns: Jobname Jobid system cpu wait-time etc...

Rows: xxxx ....

1. Next can we export this data to excel directly.

2. Can you share self-learning sites (free) for SAS-MXG to learn & explore.

Thank you

Use:

proc contents to see the metadata

proc print to see the data. Use data set option obs= to limit the number of rows.

proc export to send to excel.
