SAS on Unix

i am a baby in SAS world.... i would like to know how to start SAS on unix platform.

Hi:
This really is a site specific question. Some Unix sites use Display Manager on Unix. Some sites use VI to edit programs and then issue a "batch" submit command to submit a .sas program.

You might need to talk to someone at your site to find out how they normally create and submit SAS programs. If you contact Tech Support, they can tell you who the SAS representative for your site is. That person should be able to help you figure out how they submit SAS programs on your UNIX system..
