Hi to all,
I've got this problem: I'm reading some data from an Oracle DB, where there are some addresses, both in italian and German language. Unfortunately, in the database this are written as is (with not-ASCII characters), and so in SAS they aren't recognized correctly.
Is there a way to tell programmatically, when I create a dataset, that a description should be a unicode description?
Thanks

Daniele

Have a look at this SAS note: http://support.sas.com/kb/16/223.html

Have also a look at the "SAS National Language Support:Users Guide" in the SAS OnlineDoc (http://support.sas.com/onlinedoc/913/docMainpage.jsp),
i.e. this link might be helpful: http://support.sas.com/onlinedoc/913/getDoc/en/nlsref.hlp/a002601967.htm
