SAS Viewer Installation Issue

In trying to install the SAS Viewer on my home PC, I'm running into "nothing happens" problems. Any help is appreciated.

I register and download the SASView8.exe file and it does appear to unpack all of the files and create folders. Since it does NOT appear to have created any file associations and the files do not open with it, I assume that there is additional installation required. There IS a setup file in each of the two folders, but neither appears to do anything.

What am I missing?

A search of support.sas.com had some hits for the SAS System Viewer as far as usage was concerned, but not many as far as installation. These may prove useful to you:

Otherwise, you might want to work with SAS Tech Support on this issue.
