SAS Graph/Map - How do you color the map by region?

I am not sure the right function to do this. I have a dataset with list of states that are divided up by region, north, northeast, south, etc. I need to color or code them on the map, how do I do that?

Can you please be a little more specific? I searched through the website at support.sas.com and I couldn't find any sample codes. I am new to this area and have not yet attended any conferences. Thanks.

Really? I searched for map and color and found an answer with search support.sas.com. This really screams of being a homework problem ( I had to plot political party majority by county back when I took a SAS class) so please understand if people don't just hand you the code.

Nope, I tried all the key words that I can think of and I searched both on google and sas.com. I couldn't find anything that can help me understand it.
