Hello All,

I was running a Proc SQL(with big files) and got the following error:

ERROR: Expecting page 1001, got page 1001 instead.
ERROR: Page validation error while reading WORK.XXX.DATA.
ERROR: File WORK.XXX.DATA is damaged. I/O processing did not
complete.
I looked online for more information about this ,but could not find anything that explains what could be reason for this error.

Any thoughts on what could cause this error and solution..

Thanks in advance.

A strong possibility is that you have run out of WORK space. Check the WORK folder to see if it is running low on space.

Hi:
Searching support.sas.com for the first error message resulted in this:
http://support.sas.com/kb/7/816.html

If you searched for some of the text in the other error messages, you might find relevant notes.
