Hello,

I have one data set with the following structure:

ID           var1          var2          var3          var4          var5            var6

1001          23          Yes          560

1001                                                       54               No

1002          42          No            652

1002                                                       60               yes

1002                                                                                          5

How can I restructure the data to eliminate the duplicated IDs and make the structure like this:

ID           var1          var2          var3          var4          var5            var6

1001          23          Yes          560          54               No

1002          42          No            652          60               Yes          5

Thanks a lot!

Classic update approach, credit to data _null_,

data want;

  update have(obs=0) have;

  by id;

run;

Thanks Haikuo! Will try it out. The data structure might be a bit messier than what I illustrated and hope everything will work out.
