Hi All,

I'm trying to output frequency of my variables to an output data set or file instead of manually getting the freq from output window and type to excel file.  When I use the out option, sas only gives one variable's result to output data set.

Is there a way to do this in proc freq or I need to use another proc or macro ?  Thank you.

proc freq data=mydata;

tables

P001_1

P001_2

P001_3

P001_4

P001_5

P001_6

/  out=FreqCount ;

run;

ods output onewayfreqs=freqs;

proc freq data=sashelp.class;

table height weight;

run;

or

Ods tagsets.excelxp file="C:\path\filename.xlm";

proc freq data=mydata;

tables

P001_1

P001_2

P001_3

P001_4

P001_5

P001_6

;

run;

ods tagsets.excelxp close;

open the resulting XML file in Excel and save as xls(x) as needed.

has a small typo,

XML in the tagset name rather than xlm...

Ods tagsets.excelxp file="C:\path\filename.xml";
