When you submit SAS code from EG, the code is executed on a so-called workspace server process. In your case, this workspace server is running on a remote UNIX-based server, not on your desktop.

This means that Windows-style file and path names won't work, and you have to use a path that points to a location where you have write permission. In the example, UNIX simply appended your Windows-style path to the current working directory of the workspace server process, where you're not allowed to write anything.

Talk to your SAS server admin, so they can teel you where to put files, and if there is a network share mounted on the SAS server that you can also access from your desktop.
