Hello, everyone

I tried to use the %selectgee macro (published in Paper 251-2009 SAS Global Forum 2009) to run a GEE model with repeated measures.

I simply copied and pasted the SAS codes from the paper and tried to use it in the SAS program. However, it does not seem to work, such that it is not calculating the working matrix, etc.

I tried to contact the authors, but the e-mails all bounced back. I am just wondering whether there are people using this macro and had the same problem.

Many thanks!

Sincerely,

The macro calls upon both SAS/STAT and IML.  Do you license both products?

Thanks for your quick reply, Arthur. I have license for SAS/STAT, but I am not sure about IML. I am new to SAS. Do you happen to know where I can get IML and whether there are specific procedures that I will need to run before using this macro in SAS?

Sincerely,
