Hello,

When running a paired TTEST with the proc TTEST procedure (see sample code below), is it possible to obtain the mean of the individual time points separately (i.e., mean of time1 and mean of time2 separately) in addition to the mean of the paired differences (i.e., mean of time1-time2) ? I know this is provided when using proc TTEST with independent samples but I am not sure if this can be obtained when the paired statement is used. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

proc ttest data=x;
paired time1*time2;
run;

Apparently not.

So you can just run PROC TTEST a second time without the PAIRED statement, or PROC MEANS or PROC SUMMARY.
