I read about The Split Procudre in SAS 9.1.3. I used the procedure and gives me correct output table with no errors or warnings in logs. However the keywords like Target, Score which are required for this proc comes in red in my editor window. Is there any specific reason for this? Is this proc no longer supported by higher versions of SAS or its still in ues?

Please help me out with this.

DThere are enough procs and keywords I think they just got left out. I've noticed the same thing with several other procs as well as ODS features..

If this really bugs you can go to Tools>Options>Enhanced Editor. On the General Tab is a button for "User Defined Keywords" where you can add the offending words.

Go to the Appearance tab to set how you want user defined words to appear. I have them look like the "Defined Keyword".

The color parser is sometimes late knowing about new code features.

You can report this to tech support so they know about it and and can fix the defect.

Thank you for the information. I actually rearranged the statements and that went off.

Does anyone have any idea if this proc is supported by latest SAS version?
