Two minor points.  First this post is 2 years old.  Second the title is dbms=excel, nothing to do with Access.

Hi,

try xlsx instead of xls.

proc export outfile= "path/filename.xlsx"

data=dataset name

dbms=excel

replace;

run;

Hi - actually "Access" in this case has nothing to do with MS Access.
