Hi SAS Community,

When I run my code below to create a set of boxplots, I use the INSETGROUP statement to insert Min, Mean, and Max values.

The Min and Max values display as requested, but the Mean values don't.

Each Mean value has 3 numbers before a decimal, then 2 numbers after the decimal.

Sincere there are 15 boxplots in the chart, I don't think there is enough space to show the Mean values for all the boxplots. Some boxplots show an asterisk for the Mean value.

How can I  adjust the spacing or request truncated mean values for each of the boxplots in the chart?

proc boxplot data=boxplot_3;
plot Step1_1*Program ;
inset min mean max /
header = 'Overall Statistics'
pos = tm;
insetgroup min mean max /
header = 'Min & Max Values for Each Program';
label Step1_1 = 'Step 1 Scores';
run;

Thank you,

Aaron

Data.

We can't test code without data.

Does your log have any interesting notes?

Do you have ODS Graphics on? Some of the Proc BOXPLOT features do not work when ODS Graphics is enabled.
