I would like to add values of the environment variable _RMTUSER (REMOTE_USER / Username, if authenticated.) exported from the web server to the statistics data set that PROC APPSRV creates.

I tried to modify the data set as documented in the paragraph “Customizing the Statistics Data Set” (http://support.sas.com/rnd/web/intrnet/dispatch/appstat.html)

Unfortunately, the variable stays empty.
Has someone a similar experience? Could someone explain how to do it correctly or share a sample code?

Hi:
If you used documented code that did not have the expected result, that's a good reason to contact Tech Support. If the documentation is incorrect, it will be updated as a result of your track. If the example is correct, but there's some other piece of information that's needed to make it work, that clarification would also be added to the documentation, if needed. These changes, however, only get triggered when issues like this are reported through Tech Support.
