Dear experts,
given the following input:
input x var1 var2 var3 var4 var5;
datalines;
20 5 2 4 5 4
25 12 56 13 44 4
20 5 2 4 5 4
25 12 56 13 44 4
20 5 2 4 5 4
25 12 56 13 44 4
. 2 5 6 5 4
;
running the following procedure I get the output I want:
proc means data=inputs STACKODS n nmiss min max;
var _numeric_ ;
ods output summary=stacked;
;run;
but I would like additionally to do not print out the data as in the following proc, where unfortunately the structure of my output is not as expected:
proc means data=inputs STACKODS n nmiss min max noprint;
var _numeric_ ;
output out=summary_data
;run;
How can I get the ouput from the first proc (stacked) without printing it out?
Thank in advance, SH.
Try either turning off listing/HTML destination or ODS exclude all.
ods exclude all;
first proc means...
ods select all;
ods HTML close;
First proc means....
ods html;
Use the first version of the proc means, and direct ODS output to a dataset.
