I'm running SAS 9.4 on a new workstation with 12 cpus (6 dual-threaded processors). From the Task Manager, it appears that SAS is only using 6 of the 12 CPUs, even if I change the CPUCOUNT=12. Is there a way to utilize all 12 cpus?
Thanks,Kevin
When multihreading is not specifically designed for HT, it's better to use the unthreaded CPUs. Disable HT and do a comparative performance test.
