Hello,

I have a dataset with numeric variable _MONTH with values 1,2,3, etc...

I've applied a format so that 1="Jan", 2="Feb", 3="Mar", etc... for this variable within the sas dataset.

I'd like to export this sas dataset into excel using proc export but the variable _MONTH continues to display the actual numeric (1,2,3,etc.) values instead of the formatted (Jan, Feb, Mar,etc) values.  Is there any way that I can maintain formats from the sas dataset into the excel file using proc export?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions,

Mackenzie

Not with proc export no, the log says so.

Use tagsets.excelxp or another option.
