Issue when importing data from excel to sas dataset

Hi,

  Recently Microsoft Office 2010 was intalled on my system and I have trouble in using proc import of data from excel to sas dataset.

For few of the columns where names are there, only I can see first letter of each name in columns, not the whole name which is there in excel work book. Has any one encountered this kind of issue and please let me know how to resolve.

BTW, sometimes Eguide can import SAS datasets that PROC IMPORT cannot.
