I would like to know how to inert blank column above first observation by using proc sql.
By default it appaers at bottom, how to keep it above first obs without sorting.

Can any one please explain with syntax.

A blank column or add a row of blank-value variables to your SAS data library member or some type of report/output? Please clarify and also share any SAS coding you are using today with this particular objective/requirement. Or have you looked at the INSERT statement with PROC SQL?
