Hello All,
I am facing a trouble to get Indian Comma Format in SAS.
Any suggestion to get that.
What does that look like? Have you tried a picture format?
Tried doing picture format on numeric values which displays value like 11,11,11,111.00 . But Picture format will convert numeric values in categories in VA.
Hey Reeza,
Have you any solution for this., the format looks like 11,11,11,111.00
You can use picture formats:
proc format;
picture indianc
low-high='99,99,99.99';
run;
data test;
a=121212.0;
format a indianc.;
run;
Hi RW9,
I'm trying to implement User-Defined Formats in SAS VA. Please refer to my post.
Need your guidance.

You can use the comma format directly.
format variable comma12.2;
Dear Viveklanka
Inbuilt comma format give you output like 111,111,111.00, while Indian currency comma format is like 11,11,11,111.00 .
Thanks
