I have a dataset where time is recorded in hh:mm on a 24 hour clock.  When I import this data I am importing as character due to the ":".

How can I convert this to time?

Once it is converted to time, how do I change it from a 24 hour clock to a 12 hour AM/PM format?

Thank in advance!

Thanks.  I just needed to convert the data from character to numeric first...
