Thank you for your input. My silly mistake. I figured it out.

Hi,

You need to save the that file (ex: lab.xlsx) like

go to File --> Save as --> in "Save as" window select "Excel 97-2003 workbook (*.xls)" from drop down box of "Save as type".

then you can import file with normal code in version less than SAS 9.2
