How to stop a SAS program running continually?

Hi SAS Forum,

I have run a proc sql program.

It generated the output file and log doesn't have any complains.

Question:

/*At the top of my EG Window in the "blue ribon like line' it keeps saying the programe is running*/

The messege reades exactly like below ("Test" is the name of my EG project).

SAS Enterprise Guide - Test running.egp

I have just typed "quit;" and ran it as a seprate piece but still the above messege keep running.

Could you help me to stop it.

Did you click the little red  stop button.

And be patient. wait for some long time .

or use OS command to kill sas session .

If your EG is connectted with a Unix sas server, then use OS kill it.

kill -999  12344   <--- is your session id.
