Hello All.

Is there a way to see the contents of the sas Index file?
Can i use proc contents ?

Please let me know your opinions.

Thanks in advance.

Why do you ask this question? What is it that you want to achieve in the end?

perhaps the SAS Language Concepts documentation on "sas files" might explain the structure of base SAS indexes but (as far as I am aware) no procedures reveal more about the values in indexes than the proc contents option CENTILES.
