How to retrieve a cleared log?

Is there any way to retrieve a cleared log?

Searching the forums with something like "clear log" or "delete log" should give you all the answers you're after.

Not that I know of. You could however use an alternate log file (option ALTLOG) as an ultimate backup solution and even implement some kind of archive mechanism. Disk space is hardly a concern these days.
