I need to register the customer database in the SAS Metadata
Repository so that data are available to the SAS servers.
How I can do that?.

Hi:
I would recommend that you talk to your SAS Administrator or your Data Manager -- generally, the ability to register objects (like datasets) in the SAS Metadata Repository is a limited function done through SAS Data Integration Studio (when the tables are being built or loaded) or using SAS Management Console. It is also possible that your SAS Administrator initially loaded some information into the Metadata Repository with a program; however, to programmatically load new information in the Metadata Repository you would need to work with your SAS Administrator to make sure you knew the correct code and the correct server, etc and picked the correct time to refresh the Metadata.

This is also a topic we cover in our Platform Administration classes.

I'm like SAS Administrator.
The SAS's products have finished installing it a few days ago in the PERU. A person came from Mexico to install it.
On the client side there is a Teradata database. But, I'don't know to interact with it
from SAS.
What do I need from the client to do this?.
Thanks for your reply.

Hi:
Questions of this complexity are best answered by technical support. However since your Business Intelligence software has just been installed and the configuration process may not be completed and since this involves an installation in another country, the forum moderator will contact you by separate email with some more detailed suggestions.
