Hello everyone,

I would like to import single tables from an ACCESS database (.mlb /32 Bit version) into SAS 9.4 (64 Bit version). The ACCESS database is located on a different drive than SAS and should not be transferred.
I get the following error message when trying to import a table "Failed to connect to the Server:" It migh be just a simple error in my code, but I have the feeling it has something to to do with the different locations of the SAS PC Files Server and the ACCESS database.

I used the following code

proc import table="table_rehab1"
out=rehab1
dbms=accesscs;
database="V:\xxx.mdb";
run;

Any help is appreciated I am still a SAS beginner.

Thanks.

This should work if your PC Files Server process is installed and set to autostart (see doc here).

If it's not installed/configured, check this guide for how to make that happen.
