Hello,

I was wondering how you could highlight a specific data point in a scatter plot of SGPLOT.  I can individual label the data points using data steps, but there are too many data points in the plot to use it.  I would like to be able to make this individual symbol either bold, filled, a differen't color, or do something else to make it stand out.

Thank you,
Jeff S. O.

If you are not already using groups, you can put that point in a separate group.

But the simplest way is to create a new variable

data newData;

set myData;

if case = somethingSpecial then ySpecial = y;

run;

proc sgplot data=newData;

scatter x=x y=y;

scatter x=x y=ySpecial / markerAttrs=(color=red);

run;

You could also use SG annotation, but that's probably too much trouble.
