What I have is the code and the error message.

How to fix this error? X has 3 groups with value assigned as 0, 1,2

Thanks!

proc glimmix data=aa;

  class X(ref='0');

  model Y(event='1')=X /dist=bin;

  lsmeans X /ilink CL adjust=bon oddsratio;

  run;

ERROR: Invalid reference value for X.

Does X actually take the character value of '0' in the data? If it is a numeric value then drop the quotes.

The value referenced needs to be an actual value of X.
