Hi all:

I just switched to a new working station.  I found the LOG window, help section, etc. are in Japanese which confusing me a lot.   How to change back to English?   Thanks.

That can happen if you launch the SAS shortcut that is labeled "SAS (English with DBCS)".  Use the "plain" SAS shortcut labeled "SAS (English), or "SAS (Unicode Support)".

I had this issue when IT installed SAS on a new workstation.

the shortcut was pointing to the incorrect folder under the nls directory

Change it into:

"C:\Program Files\SAS\SASFoundation\9.2(32-bit)\sas.exe" -CONFIG "C:\Program Files\SAS\SASFoundation\9.2(32-bit)\nls\en\SASV9.CFG"
