I want to hide the ticks on the X axis as indicated in the attached graph, and I am trying to use the Display option by adding a line of code ( xaxis DISPLAY=NOLINE;),but generated errors below. Please help me find out the solution, thanks a lot. 9 proc sgplot data=sashelp.prdsale; 10 yaxis label="sales" min=200000 ; 11 xaxis display=noticks; ------- 22 76 ERROR 22-322: Syntax error, expecting one of the following: (, ALL, NONE. ERROR 76-322: Syntax error, statement will be ignored. 12 vbar country / response=predict; 13 vbar country / response=actual 14 barwidth=0.5 15 transparency=0.2; 16 run; NOTE: The SAS System stopped processing this step because of errors. NOTE: PROCEDURE SGPLOT used (Total process time): real time 0.01 seconds cpu time 0.00 seconds

Hi,

 

Its a good idea to put code blocks in a code window indicated by the {i}.  This way it is possible to read them.  At a guess I say you missing the brackets, from teh documentation:

display=(noticks)

Its a good idea to put code blocks in a code window indicated by the {i}.  This way it is possible to read them.  At a guess I say you missing the brackets, from teh documentation:
