Hi Guys, I would like to know if there is any book for practicing Base and Advance Practical problems. What I mean to say problems involves concepts of Base SAS and Proc SQL that helps us to build a clear understanding to solve real-time problems of banking and various domain.
The Little SAS Book By Lora D.Delwiche and Susan J. Slaughter is very usefull .
Yes, that's a very nice book(little SAS Book). Also try these books, they are wonderful for all level- beginner to advanced sas users:
1. sharpening your SAS skills- by sunil gupta
2. SAS Statistics by example- By Ron Cody
3. Learning SAS by Example: A Programmer's Guide - by ron cody..one of the finest ever SAS books, many people's favorite
4. For Proc SQL- Your best bet is "Proc SQL beyond the basics"- by Kirk Paul Lafler
if you master the above 4, you are certain to become a great SAS programmer
The various domains? Its a very broad question. The issue is learning to solve general problems and then recognizing them when faced with them.
You specify practical problems. Are you talking about analytical problems i.e. what type of regression, model, how to maximize or programming skills to learn, i.e. how to flip data, report, summarize?
Are you ready for the spotlight? We're accepting content ideas for SAS Innovate 2025 to be held May 6-9 in Orlando, FL. The call is open until September 25. Read more here about why you should contribute and what is in it for you!
Learn the difference between classical and Bayesian statistical approaches and see a few PROC examples to perform Bayesian analysis in this video.
