PROC SQL;

UPDATE ReAdm.CHI2

SET ADMISSION 'NOREADMIT' = 0.5 WHERE 'NOREADMIT' = 0;

END;

RUN;

I am trying to take the admission column that has noreadmit in it then the count is 0 and update it to 0.5.

This does not work either:

PROC SQL;

UPDATE ReAdm.CHI2

SET (ADMISSION)='NOREADMIT')COUNT = 0.5 WHERE COUNT = 0));

END;

RUN;

How about...

PROC SQL;

UPDATE ReAdm.CHI2

SET count = .5

where ADMISSION = 'NOREADMIT' and COUNT = 0;

quit;
