Getting a value from a Text Entry Control in SAS AF App for WHERE statement

I replaced the Text Entry Control object with the version 6 Text Entry Object and the code works perfectly. Go figure. There must be something in the newer version of the text entry object that wasn't configured correctly. However, I got it to work with the version 6 object so I am happy.
