Hi,

I am getting this error message while exporting.

ERROR: DDE session not ready.
FATAL: Unrecoverable I/O error detected in the execution of the data step program.
Aborted during the EXECUTION phase.

Please let me know how to resolve this error.

You can start off by searching for the exact text of your error message at support.sas.com. I did and found a bunch of possible causes for that error..

Have you set the nowait/noxsync options if you're using DDE?

Also if the process is saving over a file and you say don't save or some other excel prompt comes up you may cause the session to be interrupted. I try and make sure Excel is closed, especially the file I'm working on when using DDE.
