On merging two tables with same variable names, SAS gives the warning of 'variables already exist'.

One way out given in the forums is to use mention each variable by its name.

Is there any other method in Proc SQL to merge the tables without getting this warning?
Thanks.

You can rename one of the variables in the FROM clause of the SELECT.
