Hi All,

Im looking to get a better understanding of using DDE to open an excel spreadsheet that has a password.

Once the Excel is open, export a file and then close excel.

My understanding of SAS is limited as I'm new and would like to uderstand how this can be done.

regards

Hello.
Yes, "cc" is a filename by which you manage Excel in the datastep:

data _null_;
file cc; put '[Open("c:\documents\wg.xls",0,1,,"abcdxxx")]';
run;
