I'm able to crate a report by using:

proc sql;

select * from all_jer
except
select *
from out_jer

order by 1 ; /** this is not working either ?? */

Can I have use this as a sub query to create a new table ?
I.e rather than a report o/p can I want dataset as an output ?

Mush,

Of course!

To avoid seeing the table, simply start your call with:

proc sql noprint;

Then, before your select statement, simply add:

create table you_choos_a_name as

Then continue on with the rest of your statements.

Could you use CREATE TABLE lib.dataset AS
for your second line of code after the PROC SQL;?
