Hi,

Im looking for a way to copy over SAS data sets from one location to another location and keep the original date//time stamp.

Using proc copy or proc datasets will modify this time stamp with the date/time of execution.

I ould like to avoid this.

Thanks in advance!

In this case, you could try using OS command from within SAS. Check 'SYSTASK COMMAND'  OR 'X' COMMAND. Without knowing your SAS enviroment (windows/linux ect), specific code can't be provided.

Use PROC COPY with the DATECOPY option.
