After running Proc Import and reviewing the Generated SAS Datastep Code in the SAS log, I want to copy that code to the editor so I can edit it for future use.

Is there an easy way to do this without just copy+paste and then needing to remove all of the log line numbers?

Sometimes and depends on the environment you are running. In the Display Manager you can press the F4 key with the Editor as the active window before submitting any other code. That issues a "recall" (as in remember) action and will bring the generated code into the top of the editor window.

F4!

Thank you!

I knew that there was some way to do this but could not, for the life of me, remember!
