Hello All,

I am trying to convert a data set from .dat to .sas7bdat, but unfortunately I do not know the exact imputs of the .dat file. Is there any possible way to make this conversion without having knowledge of the inputs.

Thank you,

Seth

I've seen standard text files saves as .dat files, so you could try changing it to .txt and then do a standard proc import.

Or open the file in a text editor and see what it looks like.

But .DAT files can be many other things so it depends on what type of file it is.
