I have two tables in one table i have variables and in another table i have observations how can i club these both tables.


Data a;
input id sal;
run;


data b;
cards;
1 2
3 4
run;

Now i want the two tables to be clubbed i want the final output as

Data c;
input id sal;
cards;
1 2
3 4
run;

Hi,
As per your code, the data set 'a' won't be ceated because there is no data set exists without observations.

Are you looking to update the observations present in data set 'a' with the observations present in data set 'b' .Make your task clear so that I may helpful for you.
