In my SCL, I have the following AF command:

      else do;   /* new entry */

         /* dont let logbook developer touch list */

         if lotlist then rc = setlattr(lotlist,'NOUPDATE');

            put "before af command:";

            af CATALOG='mv.site.lbfields.frame';

      end;

And I got the following compiling error:

NOTE: Compiling ENTER.SCL.

ERROR 180-322: Statement is not valid or it is used out of proper order.

NOTE: SCL source line.

423   af CATALOG='mv.site.lbfields.frame';

      --

      180

ERROR: Compile error(s) detected. No code generated.

Can I use AF command in a SCL? Cannot figure out why I got this error. Thanks for any help.

The AF command is for use in SAS Display Manager to start a SAS/AF application. It is not part of the SCL lanaguage.

Use the CALL DISPLAY or DISPLAY function to branch to another SCL entry from SCL itself:
