Here is my SAS code and there are six kinds of TYPE in sashelp.cars. I'm wondering if I can add a column for row number (i.e., 1 ~ 6).

 

 

proc tabulate data= sashelp.cars;
	class type make;
	table type, make;
	run;

Hi:

  Not in PROC TABULATE, but you can do what you want with a COMPUTED variable in PROC REPORT.
