Arkive text files using Winrar

Hi.
i want to write SAS code that compress text files using winrar.
should be able to compress multiple files(some same location but from a specific daystamp) into an arkive and store it, in another place.
Cant find anything on SASsupport.can anybody help me?

Since winrar has command line capabilities (see: Tutorial – Using WinRAR command-line tools | ResPower Super/Farm™ Render Farm ), any of the papers on using the winzip command line should help you figure it out.  e.g., take a look at:
