Hello,

I am using DDE to write an output to Excel, and I am wondering if SAS can output numbers as accounting format.

My desired output is something look like:

but the output I got is the following:

It seems like column 2 and column 3 have accounting format, but not column 1. Is there a way I can have all numbers as account format?

Here is part of DDE output program.

FILENAME DATA1  DDE "EXCEL|Data!R28C3:R39C9";

DATA _NULL_;

  SET test;

       format cost1 dollar15.

            cost2 cost3 dollar10.1;

     FILE DATA1 LRECL=30000;

        PUT ' ' ' ' ' ' cost1 cost2 cost3 ' ';

RUN;

Thanks
