SAS Intro Tour - Get an overview of the SAS platform
At this workshop, participants are given an overview of the SAS Platform in a helicopter view. The workshop is aimed at new SAS software users who need an introduction to the role-based applications in the SAS platform. However, experienced SAS users can also participate and benefit from getting insight on the latest technology in the SAS platform and see it all in action.
During the workshop, we introduce and demonstrate some of the following applications:
- SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS Studio, SAS Stored Processes
- SAS Add-In for Microsoft Office, SAS Visual Analytics, SAS Visual Statistics
- SAS Data Integration Studio, SAS Data Management Studio, SAS Federation Server
- SAS Management Console, SAS Environment Manager, The modern grid enabled SAS Platform
- SAS Enterprise Miner, SAS Forecast Studio
- SAS in the future
We spend the majority of the time on this workshop demoing SAS software. Use this workshop for new SAS software users. It will provide an understanding of how all these applications exchange information, and which are relevant for who in your organization. In addition, use this workshop as your starting point when learning SAS. Then you will know where to start, and you will have an overview of all the possibilities.
